While producing sauces or spreads, the pipes in your equipment require precise cleaning, which is a highly water-consuming process. We had a great conversation with Erik Stasse, Rob Wouters, and Jan Vermeulen from <a href="https://fluivac.com/">Fluidor</a> about their newest innovations of the Fluivac.


<h2>Save water and recover your product with the process</h2>
Erik explains that instead of cleaning the production line with water, Fluivac uses compressed air instead. "The cleaning process can use thousands of liters of water, we use just 20," says Erik. It has previously been used by beverage producers, but thanks to the innovations, you can now use it for stickier products, for example even for peanut butter!

The process can take from 4 to 10 minutes, and as Jan and Rob explain, it consists of 4 steps: push, blow, rinse, and dry. It's not only for cleaning the pipework but recovering the product inside. Therefore you can do both: save water and minimize your product loss.

Thus compressed air is pushed into your pipework, to remove the product on the walls and to ensure an effective cleaning process. Sounds good, right? We're eager to see more innovations from Fluidor!

Non-alcoholic beverages are drinks that don’t have any liquor such as tea, coffee, fruit juices, soft drinks, and carbonated beverages. They can be produced premix or postmix, depending on the setup of your production line.

Fruit pulp is a mass of pressed fresh fruit not meant for immediate consumption. Production of fruit pulp avoids wasting food and preserves the flavors and nutrient value of the fruit product. Processed fruit pulp is an ingredient in beverages, sauces, baby foods, jellies, smoothies, and bakery products.

Tradition and manufacturing procedures dictate the distinction between fruit juice, puree, and pulp. Still, naming and labeling are complex and depend on regulations, type of fruit, texture, consistency, preservation methods, and sugar or solid content (measured in Degrees Brix). Depending on your desired output, there are various fruit pulper machines for different stages of production that make the process quicker and more efficient.

The back label of a bottle is more important than the front label. Beverage manufacturers use a formula of additives to ‘correct’ the base ingredients according to the taste expectations of consumers.

The modern palate is used to ultra-processed flavors and mouthfeel, and creating drinks that match these sensory parameters is a science in its own right.



But <a href="https://soofdrinks.com/en/">Soof Drinks</a> decided to move down the opposite direction, cutting all additives. The Amsterdam-based company developed a range of natural-only syrups to create a new product category.
