Aseptic bottle sterilisation system for Pet containers

In the beverage industry, ensuring product safety while maintaining the quality of aseptic beverages is a challenge. Traditional sterilisation methods often leave residues or are not effective in completely eliminating germs from PET containers.

Sterilise Pet bottles using hydrogen peroxide

The PET-Asept D by Krones is an aseptic system designed to sterilise PET containers using hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) as the sterilising medium. This system ensures a dry, efficient, and germ-free sterilisation process. It is capable of handling various bottle shapes and can process between 12,000 to 36,000 bottles per hour. The system includes a cap sterilisation module (CapAsept D), an aseptic capper with individual servo drives for each capping head, and a centralised air handling unit. One of its key advantages is its fully-automatic change-over capability, which reduces downtime for manual adjustments. Additionally, the system can fill beverages with fruit pieces up to 10 x 10 x 10 millimetres and operates continuously for up to one week before requiring a cleaning cycle. The process ensures no condensation by treating warm bottles with warm gas, making it ideal for high efficiency and reliability in aseptic bottle filling.
