Esl beverage filling system
For companies needing to package extended shelf-life (ESL) milk-based drinks and sensitive beverages distributed in the cold chain, container decontamination is crucial to ensure product longevity and safety.

Ensures reliable bottle and cap decontamination
The GEA Whitebloc Filling System Aero is an efficient, water rinse-free decontamination technology for plastic bottles and caps using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). It features a two-phase starwheel-based process where bottles are sprayed with an H2O2 solution and then flushed with hot sterile air, ensuring thorough decontamination. Equipped for flexible operation, it can be supplied in standalone or combined configurations with a stretch-blow molding machine for PET bottles. A hygienic overpressured air cabin ensures a sterile environment during filling and capping, minimizing product waste and maintaining hygiene. The system can achieve up to a 3 log reduction in contamination levels, making it suitable for high hygiene standards required in ESL beverage packaging. GEA, the manufacturer, has designed this system for various bottle formats, including PET and HDPE, ensuring operational flexibility and cost efficiency.
