Rotary volumetric filler for still drinks

In beverage production, precise and hygienic filling of still drinks into plastic bottles is crucial. The challenge lies in preventing product losses, ensuring fast changeovers, and maintaining flexibility to accommodate bottles of different shapes.

Ensures accurate and hygienic filling

The Fillstar LXf from GEA is a rotary volumetric filler designed for filling still drinks into plastic bottles. This system employs electronic control valves that avoid contact with the bottles, ensuring precise dispensing measurements. The bottles are managed by neck-handling starwheels powered by brushless motors, providing operational reliability and speed. The incorporation of a magnetic–inductive flowmeter and membrane pneumatic valve further refines product flow control. Fillstar LXf features include a product tank with an electro-pneumatic valve cluster for loading and draining, and integrated level detectors and modulating valves for independent control over product dispatch and counter-pressure gas venting. Its design prioritizes hygiene through an effective sanitization process, facilitated by dummy bottles and a sterile air filtering unit on the capper turret, preventing microbiological contamination. All components in contact with the product are crafted from stainless steel, maintaining long-term durability and compliance with hygiene standards.
