The Innopro KZE C flash pasteurizer from KHS is designed for continuous pasteurization, ideal for extending the shelf life of various beverages. With its heat retention period tailored to specific beverage types, it effectively kills microorganisms and inactivates enzymes. The system employs hot water circulation to heat the product in a counterflow to the pasteurization temperature, using a plate heat exchanger. It can process up to 60,000 liters per hour of beer, clear juice, and other fiber-free beverages. For products with higher viscosity and fiber content, tube form heat exchangers are used. The process ensures continuous, gentle pasteurization with temperature or PU control. A buffer tank between heating and filling stages allows for sustained production. The system integrates with existing and new line concepts and optimizes energy consumption through product preheating for hot filling.
