A granulator is a high-speed knife mill designed to cut down large components of feedstock and reduce them to smaller particle sizes. Selecting the right scissor geometry and configuration allows granulators to process plastic bottles, organic fibers, films, wires, cables, and other difficult materials. Agglomeration granulators combine fine particles into larger granules by creating bonds between them. Bonds are formed by compressing fine particles or through the use of a binding agent.
