The High Shear Mixer Granulator by Fabtech is designed to address these challenges with its ergonomic and compact design. It facilitates both dry mixing and wet granulation processes, ensuring homogeneous mixing and even binder distribution. The four-blade impeller design provides efficient dry mixing, while the rapidly moving chopper blades break down oversized agglomerates and distribute the binder uniformly. Constructed in SS 316, the mixer includes features such as a wet co-mill at discharge for uniform drying, a binder addition port with sprinkle nozzle, and a pneumatically operated top lid and discharge port. The system is GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant, making it suitable for various scales of pharmaceutical production, from lab to commercial models.
