The GMX GRANUMEIST® is a high shear granulator and mixer designed by Freund for the efficient and homogeneous wet granulation of powders. Its top-drive design enhances user safety and enables faster processing times. The removable bowl and mixing blade with a fixed bowl lid allow for superior cleaning and maintenance. The vertical shaft chopper improves granulation, while the user-defined mixer and chopper speeds offer processing flexibility for both aqueous and solvent materials. Optional features include vacuum drying for one-pot processing and a jacketed bowl for product temperature control. The system is equipped with a color touch screen control for validatable process control, configuring both automatic and manual modes. It also supports 21 CFR Part 11 compliant data and recipe handling. The GMX GRANUMEIST® series comes in various models, offering bowl capacities from 150 to 1200 liters.
