The Fluid Bed Processor by Fabtech is designed to handle multiple processes like granulation and coating within a single vessel. This combined approach reduces material handling and process times compared to other wet granulation processes. The top spray method in the fluid bed system produces granules with a porous structure that enhances wettability. This system is cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and constructed with SS 316/SS316L for lab, pilot, and commercial production models. The contact parts feature a mirror finish, while the non-contact parts have a matt finish. Additional features include a pneumatically controlled damper for accurate air monitoring, a 3-stage filtration system, and a spray gun for precise control. It also supports high containment isolation systems to ensure operator safety.
