Pelleting and spheronizing equipment for chemical granulates

In the chemicals industry, achieving dust-free, uniformly sized granulates is crucial for applications like additive manufacturing and dry flue gas cleaning. Traditional methods often fall short in maintaining consistency and quality, presenting a significant challenge for production lines focused on efficiency.

Form and round cylindrical stable pellets

The Gear Pelletizer AGF from Hosokawa Alpine is designed to form cylindrical, stable pellets with uniform length. Utilizing counter rotating hollow toothed rollers, the AGF Gear Pelletizer processes materials into granulates with diameters between 1 to 10 mm. For creating shingled, highly porous granulates, the Bextruder compresses material through an extrusion rotor and perforating die. The Bexroller further refines these granulates, rounding them off in a spheronization process. These pieces of equipment are integral in industries that require precision and reliability, particularly in chemical, food, and pharmaceutical applications. The systems are known for their efficiency and low-maintenance operation, ensuring high-quality end products with minimal dust.
