Although the filling process is at the very end of the production line, it is no less important than the earlier steps. Last but not least, the idiom that dates back to 1382 when John Wyclif wrote the firste the laste, and the laste the firste, indicates just that the last things on a list are just as valuable as the previous ones. As simple as its own ingredients, the grain-hops-yeast trifecta along with water are the big four ingredients for making beer. The beer-making process is known as brewing and involves several steps like milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, and fermentation.

<h2>State of the art fill level inspection for foiled containers and bottles</h2>
The Newton X2Z from Miho is an X-ray fill level inspection unit that inspects foiled containers and bottles. It distinguishes itself by requiring less than a tenth of the average amount usually used for inspection by radiation for its measurement process. And thus the amount of radiation exposure is also reduced. This reduction is due to X-ray technology developed for this purpose by Miho inspection system.

The core piece of the High-precision X-ray fill level controller  is an X-ray generator, which in contrast to traditional X-ray fill level inspection units only generates X-rays for a short moment during the measuring process. The total radiation intensity is therefore only a fraction of what is the case with traditional X-ray fill level inspection units. The exact value depends upon the number of containers inspected.

Floriaan says that there is a need to change industrial water usage in large factories and a way to do it is by reusing water. The technology from Pantarein Water utilizes reverse osmosis (RO) to purify the water once used in a process. By that, you can remove minerals, heavy metals, and microorganisms from the water. After RO the water is directed back to the production line.

"The approach itself is nothing new," says Floriaan, but the need for it is more evident than before. In addition to water reuse their experts can help you with both aerobic and anaerobic water treatment and water management in general.

"We are water at your service," beams Floriaan, as it is also their motto.

Energy drinks have come a long way since the tangy, fizzy products popularized in the 1990s. The beverage category today is responding to wellness trends by reducing sugars and adding vitamins. But the basis for making energy drinks remains caffeine anhydrous, which acts as a stimulant. Unique recipes are finished with an array of ingredients, from herbal extracts to taurine to flavorings. The Mpac engineers went back to the drawing board and rebuilt a system around a robotic arm that guides the carton every step of the way.

The platform simplifies the cartoning process while perfectly matching the volume requirements of small breweries. Dave explains how the robotic arm eliminates a layer of complexity: “We managed to replace a whole series of electromechanical tools with a single, low-maintenance device.”

40 cpm is a significant breakthrough, but brewers do not need to complicate their line just to keep up with the cartoning demands. The helpful robotic arm takes your production from tipping point to sipping point without mechanical hangovers.
