Industrial dehumidification involves the process of removing moisture as well as controlling humidity. For example, warehouses that store grains need a controlled climate to avoid mildew and other moisture-related issues that can ruin or spoil the product. Refrigerant dehumidifiers pass the air over a cold coil, cooling the air to the point where its water vapor begins to condense. KANON top loading arms come in different designs depending on the application. These can be open filling systems as they are commonly used in for a wide range of products across all industry sectors. But they can also be designed for closed filling for highly aggressive liquids associated with the chemical and petrochemical industries.

Loading arms can be executed with or without vapour return or pressure line. They can outfit with top level detection (bubble pipe sensing or electronic). A telescopic drop pipe can be integrated to prevent foaming or electrostatic build up. Adding a press down cylinder will prevent arm lifting or add a drop pipe deflector to prevent dripping.

Kanon bottom loading arms are used both for open loop and closed loop fluid transfer. The “open loop” product transfer uses a single bottom loading arm. Kanon loading arms are equipped with five swivel joints and a multi-spring balance cylinder. The use of Kanon balance cylinders ensures that bottom loading arms can be maneuvered through all positions with minimal effort.

With wiped film distillation, a substantial decrease of boiling temperature is obtained by reducing the operating pressure. It is a continuous process with very short residence time.

Evaporation

Purification is the removal of contaminating substances and by-products to increase the level of purity of the desired substance. Considerations for choosing a suitable purification system in the industry, include the physical state of the mixture, the desired product, required level of purity, the type of mixture, heat sensitivity of the product, number of purification steps needed, and the production volume. Industrial purification systems are used for the production of pure water in the food pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

With short path distillation, a substantial decrease of boiling temperature is obtained by reducing the operating pressure. It is a continuous process with very short residence time.
