The ChargePoint® DiscLock™ is a high-containment split butterfly valve designed for the secure transfer of bulk powder materials. Featuring a patented locking system, it seals the disc halves together, minimizing dust exposure and contamination risks. This valve operates within ChargePoint’s PharmaSafe range, providing validated containment levels down to 1µg/m³ with the standard model and down to 0.1µg/m³ with the PharmaSafe® pro option. It eliminates the need for secondary barrier containment systems and cumbersome personal protective equipment (PPE), thus streamlining operations. The system’s robust design ensures a reliable disc-to-disc containment seal, even under high mechanical stress, making it suitable for handling poorly flowing and high-value products. The valve’s automatic operation, integrated with the optional PowerDock™ feature, furthers operational efficiency by providing easy raise and lowering mechanisms.
