Dense phase pneumatic conveying system for powder transfer

In industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals, maintaining the quality of powdered materials during transfer is crucial. Traditional methods can lead to issues like material degradation and contamination, presenting significant challenges for operators.

Ensure gentle handling and energy efficiency

The dense phase pneumatic conveying system by Gericke is designed for the safe and efficient transport of bulk materials such as powders, granules, flakes, and pellets. This system minimizes changes in bulk density and particle size distribution, reducing the risk of demixing. The absence of rotating parts in its pressure vessels means fewer maintenance requirements and virtually no risk of metal contamination. The dense phase conveying technology operates at low gas velocities of 4-12 m/s, thereby reducing wear on pipelines and receivers while maintaining gentle handling of fragile products. Capable of transporting materials over distances of up to 500 meters and with capacities reaching up to 150 m³/h, the system supports a high range of operating pressures (1 barg to 6 barg or more). Gericke offers systems that comply with PED 2014/68/EC, ASME, and GB 150 standards, available in both carbon steel and stainless steel.

Benefits

  • Minimized wear of pipeline and bends
  • Reduced risk of material demixing
  • Lower maintenance costs due to absence of rotating parts
  • Energy-efficient conveying with low gas consumption
  • Capable of long-distance conveying up to 500 meters
