Cartoner for pharmaceutical products

In pharmaceutical manufacturing, efficient secondary packaging is critical to maintain product integrity and ensure compliance with regulations. Handling fragile paperboard cartons and other delicate packaging materials requires precision and reliability, particularly in high-demand environments.

Efficiently packs products into cartons

The VRC-60 by Rychiger is a compact cartoner designed specifically for pharmaceutical companies and contract manufacturers. Operating at a rate of up to 60 cartons per minute, this cartoner takes up minimal space with its 1m x 1m footprint. What sets the VRC-60 apart is its gentle handling of thin-walled and fragile paperboard cartons, thanks to a pneumatic suction mechanism and a rotary table with 12 individual vacuum stations. This setup ensures precise opening, filling, and sealing of cartons. The VRC-60 can handle various packaging sizes and shapes, from flasks and bottles to cans and vials, made of glass or plastic. It supports both single-lane and multi-lane product feeds and allows for tool-free switching between sizes. Additional features include options for QR code and RFID tag labeling, as well as quality control integrations like weighing technologies and cameras.
