Small scale nut grinder

Many confectionery and bakery processes rely on the uniform grinding of raw ingredients such as nuts, nougat, cookie, chocolate and other small-size hard items. A modern grinder produces repeatable, consistent grinds for a wide range of raw ingredients without affecting flavour or quality.

Accurate and durable grinders for small particle down to powder grinding of hard products

The Crick-Crock Grinder from MIA Food Tech has been specifically designed for the efficient grinding of toasted nuts (including almonds, peanuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, and more), as well as other hard ingredients such as chocolate, nougat, cookies, crunchy, and other similar ingredients.

Engineered with small scale production in mind, the Crick-Crock Grinder is available in a range of sizes and capacities to suit all grinding requirements, from grain to powder.

Features of the Crick-Crock include rotary blade modules for rapid interchange and cleaning; all stainless-steel construction for longevity and ease of sanitising; product throughput of between 70 and 110kg per hour, depending on grind grain size.

Rotary blades provide an exceptionally uniform grain size while introducing minimum heat to the raw ingredients, ensuring maximum taste and flavour is carried through the grinding process.

Operator safety is ensured through the use of non-removable guards over the product entry hopper and exit chutes, and grind adjustment can be easily carried out in operation by use of the external grind adjustment knobs without the need to stop the machine or for the operator to come in to contact with moving parts.
