This process involves subjecting a pressurized product to turbulent and laminar forces in a narrow ring-shaped gap, which results in improved stability, color intensity, flavor, and consistency. Additionally, the system extends shelf life and reduces the need for stabilizers. Offering capacities ranging from 5.5 kW to 400 kW, HST homogenizers can handle production rates from 300 liters per hour to up to 80,000 liters per hour. They are available in aseptic and Atex designs, making them suitable for UHT or sterile products. The aseptic design uses superheated steam, condensate, or sterile water as a barrier to prevent contamination. HST also offers various valve options such as PLUG, PILOTED, and Multigap valves, along with customizable piston materials to ensure long-term durability and noise reduction.
