The SM80 is a modular high-speed horizontal case packer designed by CAM Packaging for end-of-line operations. It comprises three independent modules: product feeding and collation, carton erection, and carton closure. This system ensures total control and ease of cleaning. Products are fed and collated using two arms with suction grippers that handle accumulation, layering, and insertion into the cartons. The carton erection and product insertion mechanisms enable high-speed packing and product stability. The closure of cartons can be done using various methods including glue tape, damp kraft paper, hot melt, or cold glue. The SM80 can also be equipped with additional options such as an automatic carton loader, longer carton magazine, label applicator, and printing devices. This packer is ideal for industries requiring robust end-of-line packaging solutions with high reliability.
