Accurately fill bulk bags in hygienic environments
The GEA high care bulk powder fillers are designed to hygienically pack dry free-flowing food, dairy and nutraceutical powders into flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC), bulk bags, and super sacks. The Bulk Bag System (BBS) semi-automatic range can fill bags at rates up to 12 metric tonnes per hour under hygienic conditions. The BBS models include single (BBS-S) and double (BBS-D) carriage configurations, which can handle and transfer filled bags without pallets in the high care area. The integrated carriage system allows for the bag to be filled while suspended, ensuring stability and precision. An optional Modified Atmosphere Packing (MAP) feature increases the shelf life of products by replacing oxygen with inert gas. With key features such as dust-tight connections and top weighing technology, these systems are ideal for high hygiene powder filling operations in dairy and food ingredient plants.
