High-pressure roller mill for medium-fine crushing

In the field of powder and particle processing, achieving medium-fine crushing of hard materials like ceramics and minerals is essential. Finding a method that combines energy efficiency with precise size reduction is key to optimizing your production process.

Achieve fine crushing with low energy requirements

The High-Pressure Roller Mill ECP by Hosokawa Alpine is designed for continuous operation, producing granules with a steep distribution. It operates through counter-rotating rollers pressed together by hydraulic systems. This selective contact creates high inner tensions leading to fractures, ensuring medium-fine crushing with minimal contamination. Its effective milling force allows for compact systems with low energy needs. This versatility makes it suitable for crushing hard materials like ceramics, minerals (5-9 on MOHS hardness), metals, and metal alloys. The ECP can be used in a closed circuit with screening machines or classifiers, achieving throughput capacities ranging from 0.2 to 120 tons per hour. Roller diameters vary from 200 mm to 1,100 mm, with working widths of 50 to 1,200 mm and drive units of 11 kW to 500 kW.

Benefits

  • Low energy requirements due to optimal milling force
  • Minimal contamination with selective granule contact
  • Versatile applications for various hard materials
  • High throughput capacity up to 120 tons per hour
  • Compact system design for space efficiency
