Caramel enrobing system for biscuits and wafers

Producing caramel-coated biscuits and wafers requires maintaining the caramel’s consistency and ensuring hygienic processing conditions. Traditional methods may struggle with these demands, leading to inconsistent product quality and extended downtime for cleaning and maintenance.

Ensures uniform caramel coating and hygiene

The Caramat® enrobing system from Sollich is designed specifically for coating biscuits, wafers, and other temperature-resistant confectionery with caramel. This system uses a patented process to maintain a constant viscosity of the caramel, enabling reliable continuous operation. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the system is suitable for wet cleaning, ensuring maximum hygiene. Heating is performed by steam, and the wire belt infeed table has a tiltable design for optimal access. The enrobed products can be sprinkled from above or on all sides, offering flexibility in final product appearance. With working widths ranging from 620mm to 1600mm and a length of 1.51 meters, the Caramat® system is versatile and can be customized for various production needs.
