The TORUSMILL® SKV5-EX vacuum basket mill from VMA-Getzmann is designed to handle high-viscosity materials while preventing air inclusions during the milling process. Equipped with a powerful vacuum system, this model ensures the homogeneity of the product by eliminating air bubbles, resulting in superior milling quality. The mill operates with motor power ranging from 30 kW to 45 kW, suitable for processing volumes of 100 to 1000 litres. Its integrated, patented pump wheel enhances the circulation of the mill base through the grinding basket, achieving narrow particle size distribution. Additionally, the double-walled milling basket facilitates effective cooling and heating, mitigating heat generation during milling. This feature is beneficial in reducing thermal damage to sensitive materials. The SKV5-EX model is particularly suited for industries such as paints and varnishes, pigments and additives, printing inks, and chemical production, and complies with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU for explosion protection.
