Ultrafine classifier for toner and pigments

Achieving precise classification of toner particles and pigments while minimizing the fine fraction can be challenging. These tasks require equipment that ensures accurate cut precision, efficient dedusting, and easy cleaning to maintain product quality consistently.

Achieves precise particle classification and efficient dedusting

The TSP and TTSP ultrafine classifiers from Hosokawa Alpine are specially designed for demanding classification tasks, with a high precision of cut and minimized fine fraction. These classifiers are ideal for toner and pigment applications and effectively manage dedusting for powder coatings containing titanium dioxide. The hinged housing design makes cleaning straightforward, reducing downtime. The TTSP model further enhances precision with two consecutive classifying stages, allowing for higher loading factors and increased throughput compared to the TSP model. Both models are available in various sizes with motor power ranging from 3 kW to 18.5 kW and air flow rates from 500 Nm³/h to 7200 Nm³/h, catering to different processing needs.

Benefits

  • Ensures high precision of cut for optimal product quality
  • Minimizes fine fraction, enhancing the dedusting process
  • Easy to clean with hinged housing design
  • Two-stage classification in TTSP for higher precision and throughput
  • Available in multiple sizes to suit varied processing requirements
