Small size multi-use glass autoclavable bioreactor

Managing microbial and cell cultures in a lab environment often requires precise control over conditions while also conserving space and resources. In such environments, achieving scalable results with minimal media usage is crucial.

Facilitate small-scale bioprocessing

The Applikon MiniBio by Getinge is a compact, multi-use glass autoclavable bioreactor designed for small-scale operations in research laboratories. It allows for precise control of microbial and cell cultures while conserving bench space and reducing media costs. Its small volume is ideal for screening studies, media optimization, and process optimization. The bioreactor features a direct drive system with lipseals, choice of Rushton or Marine impellers, and electrically cooled exhaust gas condenser. It also includes configurable Luer fittings for multiple additions, sensors, and fittings. Available in three sizes—250 mL, 500 mL, and 1000 mL—the MiniBio is suitable for batch, fed-batch, perfusion, and continuous cultivation processes.

Benefits

  • Conserves bench space
  • Reduces media costs
  • Facilitates multiple parallel experiments
  • Offers precise control of culture conditions
