The PDV Micro-Ingredients Doser is a specialized dosing system designed for precise handling of low-percentage powder additives. Manufactured by GEA, it features a buffer hopper with a level probe and a dispensing system driven by an inverter. This guarantees a consistent product flow. The doser employs one or two screws to regulate the correct quantity of micro-ingredients. Additionally, the screw feeder ensures optimal dispensing accuracy and prevents the formation of material bridges. Cleaning is fast and straightforward, meeting the highest hygiene standards. The doser can be integrated with the plant’s main PLC control system or operated via an autonomous electric control panel for electronic or manual speed regulation. Made from stainless steel, it ensures no accumulation points and includes accident prevention safety systems. It is available with either a fixed frame or a trolley and offers an optional loading unit with a filter.
