The laboratory fluid bed dryer by Cos.Mec is designed specifically for the granulation and drying of small quantities of pharmaceutical products. It offers advanced features such as high-retention polyester filter cartridges, which ensure efficient drying and granulation processes. The dryer allows for repeated cartridge filter cleaning using compressed air counterblows while the processes continue uninterrupted. This model also includes a rupture disc, sample thief, and inspection windows for easy monitoring and operation. The system operates with automatic management via a PLC and touch screen operator panel. Notable accessories include options for gravimetric or vacuum loading, internal washing (WIP), and air dehumidification for the Air Treatment Unit. Parts in contact with the product are crafted from AISI 316 L stainless steel with a mirror glass polished finish for optimal hygiene and performance, while parts not in contact are made from AISI 304 stainless steel. Cos.Mec equipment complies with CFR 21 part 11 standards for automated systems.
