Laboratory film coating system for development and clinical batches
In laboratories and smaller scale production environments, achieving precise and small batch film coating can be a significant challenge. The necessity for flexibility, ease of use, and consistency in the film coating process is critical to ensure high-quality outcomes in both development and clinical trials.
Performs small batch film coating efficiently
The LDCS-Micro HI-COATER® from Freund is a laboratory development film coating system designed for process feasibility, development, and clinical batches. Designed as a portable, self-contained tabletop unit, it features fully perforated interchangeable pans with capacities of 0.5L and 1L, covering a batch range from 10% to 100% of brim volume. Its anti-marking coating pans include abrasion-resistant perforations with anti-slide baffles and a mirror-smooth finish to ensure minimal product damage. The integrated peristaltic solution pump and anti-bearding spray gun allow for consistent coating processes, controlled atomization, and easy changeovers. The recipe-driven control system with a color touchscreen supports both automatic and manual modes for versatile operations. This system is ideal for development and clinical applications where precision and reliability are paramount. Optional Smart-Safe™ containment ensures safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
