Full production line with depositing and ultrasonic cutting

In a fast-paced bakery setting, efficiently producing and packaging layered cakes can be challenging. Ensuring each layer is precisely applied and each end product is consistently sized is crucial for maintaining quality and meeting high demand.

Automated depositing and cutting for layered cakes

The production line from Bakon is designed to automate the process of building and packaging layered cakes. It begins with a base layer of cake, onto which syrup is sprayed, followed by the deposition of up to three layers of cream. A vibrating strewer then adds toppings like sprinkles, chocolate flakes, or nuts. Two inline ultrasonic cutting machines precisely cut the cakes into individual portions. After cutting, the pieces are automatically packed and ready for shipment. This system allows for interchangeable templates, making it versatile for various other products.

Benefits

  • Consistent application of cream and toppings
  • Precise ultrasonic cutting for uniform portions
  • Automated packaging reduces manual labor
  • Interchangeable templates for product versatility
  • Efficient production line minimizes downtime
