The Condry® conical bottom agitated vacuum dryer from the Heinkel Drying and Separation Group is specifically designed for drying heat-sensitive and fragile products. It complies with cGMP and FDA guidelines and is available in aseptic and steam sterilizable versions. The unique conical bottom design ensures excellent product discharge with minimal hold-up, while very close agitator to wall/bottom clearances and a specially designed agitator prevent lump formation and ensure uniform mixing. Heat transfer areas are maximized for optimal drying performance and cycle times. Additionally, the agitator is supported by the top head, with the seal only in contact with vapors, minimizing contamination risks. Constructed from high-quality stainless steels and nickel-based alloys like Hastelloy C 22, the dryer also ensures good cleanability due to its entirely welded design without bolts and pockets. Usable volumes range from 25 to 13,500 liters, with design temperatures from -10 to 150°C and design pressures up to 6 barg.
