Sugar and fondant coating solution
If you need to coat biscuits, cakes, or pieces of fruit with sugar icings or fondant, precise and consistent coating is essential to ensuring product quality. Traditional coating methods often struggle with uniformity, efficiency, and sanitation, which can lead to production inefficiencies and quality control issues.
Provides precise coating for confectionery items
The Fondamat® coating solution from Sollich offers advanced systems for applying cold and warm sugar icings, fondant, compound, and jelly masses. It features a sanitary stainless steel construction designed for wet cleaning, making it ideal for operations requiring maximum hygiene. The system can fully or partially coat products, with working widths ranging from 420 mm to 1300 mm. It includes bottom licking rollers for thin bottom coatings and a wire belt washing device to keep the belt clean during sugar-based product runs. The Fondamat® also has a turnover device for half-coated products and a moisture measurement and steam injection system to maintain consistent water content in glazes. A drying tunnel completes the process, ensuring that fat glazes solidify and sugar glazes dry properly. Optional mass change systems, such as the patented ‘wheel-in/wheel-out’ system, allow for efficient mass changes in minimal time, increasing operational flexibility.
