The ZD 9 FB by Three-Tec is a twin screw feeder designed for both volumetric and gravimetric feeding of poorly flowing and free-flowing powders. With a 9 mm diameter metering tool and a feeding rate ranging from 0.02 to 29.53 dm³/h, this feeder is equipped to handle powders that clump or cake on the hopper walls or have a strong tendency to form bridges. Its flat bottom design, combined with a bottom scraper, ensures that bulk materials are discharged gently and completely. Powered by a stepper motor and operating at speeds between 1 to 500 min⁻¹, the ZD 9 FB maintains precise control over powder flow. The hopper has a standard volume of 0.5 liters, and the feeder weighs approximately 7 kg with a potentiometer or about 9 kg with the logo! or S7-1500 control systems. This feeder is ideal for industries requiring precise powder handling such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, and chemicals.
