The Modular Packing System (MPS) Multihead System by The Food Machinery Company Ltd. is a versatile vertical form fill seal (VFFS) packaging solution designed to work seamlessly with multihead weighers. This system allows for the use of multiple fillers, enabling highly accurate and high-speed weighing. Multihead weighers combine products from multiple weigh bins, always selecting the combination of bins closest to the target weight. Specialist models can combine up to seven individually weighed products, providing an accurate final weight and minimizing losses of valuable ingredients. The system supports a variety of bag styles, including pillow, gusseted, and flat bottom, with a maximum film width of 620mm and varying bag dimensions. Models are equipped with touch screen displays and are available in IP66 washdown versions. For sticky products, there are specialized models. The typical cycle time for this system is approximately 40 packs per minute.
