The Modular Packing System (MPS) Linear System by The Food Machinery Company Ltd is designed to handle smaller free-flowing granular products with precision. This system integrates linear weighers with a hopper that can be filled manually, removing the need for conveyorized feeding. The linear weigher system uses vibrations to feed the product into the weigh pan, which increases accuracy by slowing down the feed as the target weight is approached. Various models and standard software allow it to blend multiple products of different weights into a single deposit. It can manage bag widths of 70-300mm and lengths of 100-300mm and is capable of forming pillow, gusseted, and flat bottom bag styles. The system is estimated to achieve a speed of 40 packages per minute. The available maximum film width is 620mm.
