Mini bioreactor for cell culture and microbial process development

In process development for cell culture and microbial applications, conserving valuable materials and achieving precise control over experimental conditions are critical challenges. This is particularly relevant in scenarios involving small working volumes and the need for parallel processing capabilities.

Efficiently develop cell culture and microbial processes

The DASbox Mini Bioreactor from Eppendorf is an industry-standard autoclavable glass bioreactor designed for use in cell culture and microbial process development. With working volumes of 60–250 mL, it is ideal for conserving resources while ensuring scalability and reproducibility. The bioreactor features a stainless steel head plate equipped with standard sensors for precise measurement and control of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), and level. It also comes with a powerful direct overhead drive, configured with either a marine impeller for cell cultures or two Rushton-type impellers for microbial applications. Additionally, the liquid-free exhaust condenser offers automatic slide-in activation and slide-out deactivation for easy handling.

Benefits

  • Saves valuable resources with small working volumes (60–250 mL)
  • Ensures precise measurement and control of critical parameters
  • Provides excellent scalability and reproducibility
  • Supports parallel processing with multiple configurations
  • Easy handling with automated features and standard sensors
