The LTH model layer cake system by GEA is a highly adaptable production line designed for creating various sponge layer cakes with different fillings. The system features a conveyor with adjustable belts to accommodate different cake sizes. The layering process, including placing the sponge base, depositing syrups, creams, or jams, and adding particulates like nuts, is done sequentially on the conveyor. The DRT depositor ensures gentle and precise handling of soft mixes, maintaining high product quality. Quick-change capabilities allow for minimal downtime when switching between different cake shapes and sizes. Easy-to-remove parts and the ability to jet wash the conveyor make cleaning operations fast and straightforward. Additional automation options, like automatic sponge base loading systems and feed pumps for filling depositors, are available for high-capacity production.
