Laboratory conical screen mill for powder calibration

In pharmaceutical and chemical laboratories, ensuring uniform particle size in powder and granule samples is critical. Variations in particle size can lead to inconsistent results, affecting the quality and reliability of experimental data and production outcomes.

Achieve precise particle size calibration

The laboratory conical screen mill from Freund is a rotary screen mill designed to calibrate wet or dry powders and granules to specific particle sizes. With its compact benchtop footprint and optional mobile cart, it is particularly suitable for smaller laboratory environments. Featuring an infeed hopper for manual feeding and an inverter for adjusting screen rotation speed, it allows precise control over the milling process. Made of 316L stainless steel for product contact parts and 304 stainless steel with a fine satin finish for non-product contact parts, it meets stringent EC and cGMP regulatory standards. The low percentage of blind screen surface in contact with the product minimizes powder deposits, making the unit easy to clean with quick screen replacement. It is suitable for a wide range of products and is available with various screen sizes (from 0.25 mm to 4.00 mm in diameter) to meet specific calibration needs.
