The Laboratory Cone Mill by Cos.Mec is designed for the precise calibration of dry or wet products into uniform granule sizes. This equipment employs a cone-shaped screen with holes of the specified size and shape to achieve an even grind. As the product enters the calibration chamber, it is crushed onto the screen by a rotating blade. The design includes a mirror-polished AISI 316L stainless steel for parts in contact with the product and AISI 304 stainless steel for external parts. Notably, it features a low percentage of blind screen surface to minimize powder deposits, making cleaning straightforward. It is also compact, suitable for limited spaces, and comes with an inverter for rotation speed adjustment. Additionally, the parts in contact with the products are autoclavable, compliant with EC and cGMP regulations, and it’s fitted with st. st./PTFE mechanical seals. Optional features include a trolley or fixed support and an ex-proof version compliant with the Atex directive.
