The Criterion® CMI-160 from R.A Jones (Coesia Group) is an intermittent end load cartoner designed for medium to large centers, with a capacity of up to 160 cartons per minute. This system is particularly suited for food and pet care sectors, handling products such as baby food, baked goods, biscuits, crackers, chocolate, and snacks. The CMI-160 stands out due to its compact footprint and the integration of the product collator/transfer unit directly into the main frame. This design eliminates the need for a bucket conveyor, streamlining operations. The cartoner operates by opening, loading, and closing two or more cartons per cycle, with the ability to handle carton sizes ranging from 50 to 254 mm in length, 32 to 114 mm in width, and 130 to 254 mm in height. The unit uses glue for closing and is suitable for paperboard carton boxes.
