Horizontal vacuum paddle dryer for thermosensitive products

When dealing with high viscosity thermosensitive products, traditional drying methods can be ineffective and energy-consuming, leading to inconsistent results and potential damage to the product’s quality.

Efficiently dries high viscosity, thermosensitive materials

The Paddledry horizontal vacuum paddle dryer from Bachiller is designed specifically for products with pseudo-plastic behavior during the reaction and drying phase, requiring high torque. This dryer operates through a fully heated body, shaft, and blades, ensuring maximum heat exchange. The blades rotate close to the wall at low speed, providing continuous product renewal in direct contact with the wall. This design offers high thermal efficiency and short drying cycles. The equipment can handle capacities ranging from 50 to 30,000 liters, with operational temperatures up to 350ºC and vacuum levels as low as 1 mbar. It is compliant with ASME VIII div.1 – AD-2000 – EN-13445 standards and the Safety for Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE. Suitable for industries like fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food, it ensures a reproducible and scalable process.
