Fluidizing bed for bulk material discharge

When handling poorly-flowing but highly fluidizable bulk materials in storage silos, the efficient and residue-free discharge of contents poses significant challenges. These scenarios require technology that ensures smooth and gentle material handling while optimizing gas consumption and discharge capacity.

Optimize discharge processes with fluidizing technology

The FB discharge bottom by Zeppelin Systems is a highly efficient pneumatic aeration system designed for the discharge of poorly-flowing but highly fluidizable bulk materials. Installed onto cylindrical storage silos or weighing containers, the fluidizing bed offers an even and pulsation-free output due to bulk material fluidizing. Its gas distribution funnel, featuring an aeration base with injection nozzle and inlet/outlet flanges, ensures maximum discharge capacity with optimized gas consumption. The robust design, adapted to the silo load and contents, includes a cone with varying gradients (60° or 110°) and chambers to suit the application. Additionally, the system offers versatility for mixing, drying, temperature control, recrystallization, and more. Built for durability and low maintenance, the fluidizing bed meets ATEX-compliant standards, operates at temperatures between -10° and 70°C, and comes with options for integration with various conveyor systems.
