Cheese packaging system for mixed cheese types

In high-volume cheese production, the need to efficiently mix different cheese types into a single package arises frequently. Traditional manual handling methods are not only time-consuming but also prone to errors, impacting overall productivity and consistency.

Automates stacking and overwrapping processes

The IWS Mixstacker by Hochland Natec is designed to automatically mix two different individually wrapped cheese types into one stack, which is then overwrapped. This system works seamlessly with the FreePack® 2000, a double-lane version capable of producing two different cheese types simultaneously. With the IWS Mixstacker, stacks from both lanes are merged into one, allowing for the creation of innovative mixed cheese products. The machine requires no manual handling, reducing labor costs and improving consistency. It can handle a maximum of 140 stacks per minute and is adaptable to CE guidelines. It supports all types of IWS cheese products and allows for stack configuration of 3–10 slices before mixing, with a maximum stacking height of 30 mm.
