Self-priming centrifugal pump for Cip solutions

In the food and beverage industry, applications requiring both product conveying and Cleaning in Place (CIP) necessitate efficient and reliable pumping systems. Traditional systems may need additional pumps for CIP, increasing complexity and cost.

Optimize product conveyance and Cip in one step

The GEA Hilge TPS series by GEA features self-priming centrifugal pumps designed for a range of applications, including CIP solutions, beer, milk, and more. These pumps can handle viscosities up to 500 mPas. They are known for low sound levels, high efficiency, and excellent cleaning properties. A notable feature is their ability to evacuate pipes on the suction side, allowing one pump to handle both CIP return and product conveyance. Wetted components are made of stainless steel (AISI 316L), ensuring durability and hygiene. The pumps operate up to a maximum pressure of 16 bar and can handle media temperatures up to 140°C. With options for optimized speed control and an impeller trimming, the TPS pumps are energy-efficient. They are EHEDG certified and equipped with mechanical seals complying with FDA and USP Class IV, ensuring high hygienic standards.
