Scraped surface heat exchanger for high viscosity products
Creating consistent and quality end products in the food and dairy industry often demands precise temperature control and efficient heat transfer, particularly when working with high viscosity substances or products containing solid particulates.

Heating, cooling, and pasteurizing with minimal fouling
The SSHE by Soren Srl is a versatile scraped surface heat exchanger suited for applications involving heating, cooling, crystallizing, pasteurizing, and sterilizing of challenging materials. This equipment is designed to handle high viscosity products such as filling creams, jams, gelatine, and processed cheese. It also manages high difficulty products with large solid particulates like sauces and gravies, or crystallization through cooling of substances like margarine, fats, and butter. The construction includes sanitary/hygienic materials that meet various CIP procedures, and the HD series can withstand up to 30 bar pressure, while the XHD series can handle up to 80 bar. The unit features a stainless steel frame and heat exchange surfaces ranging from 0.08 to 1.40 square meters per cylinder. It can utilize various heating and cooling media, including steam, water, brine, glycol, ammonia, and freon. Soren Srl provides multiple models such as HD, HDE, and VT with specific adaptations for pressure, cooling, and adherence reduction.
