Pilot unit for processed cheese slices

In research and development (R&D) environments or small-scale cheese production facilities, there is often a need for flexible and efficient systems to produce high-quality processed cheese slices. Traditional large-scale units are not practical for these settings due to their size and complexity.

Produces slice-on-slice processed cheese

The FreeSlice® 300 by Hochland Natec is designed as an adaptable pilot unit for the production of Slice-on-Slice (SOS) processed cheese. This plug-in system comes with an integrated cooling unit, eliminating the need for an external cooling medium. It is particularly suited for small production volumes or R&D purposes. The unit’s flexibility is enhanced through optional modules like the CubeCutter and CrossCutter, which allow for varied product formats. The system can process up to 275 kg/hour and produce up to 360 slices per minute with adjustable thickness ranging from 2.0 mm to 10 mm. Additionally, it adheres to CE guidelines ensuring compliance and safety.
