It starts with a high-quality meat emulsion, formed and transported from the emulsifier to the hopper. The process includes continuous rope forming, cooking in a steam tunnel, cooling, and cutting into chunks. The extrusion step allows for in-line dosing of colors and additives, adding flexibility in product design. The steam tunnel cooks the meat emulsion with recipe-controlled settings for speed and temperature. A buffer system ensures operation continuity, even during packaging interruptions, reducing waste. The flexible system can produce chunks of various shapes and sizes with quick-change dies, tailored for different pet food applications. After the initial cooling phase, further cooling and drying can be incorporated before packaging. The entire line meets EHEDG hygienic design standards and offers capacities ranging from 250 kg to 5000 kg.
