The TORUSMILL® TML500/1000 by VMA-Getzmann is a modular basket mill designed to enhance the efficiency of the DISPERMAT® SC5 and DISPERMAT® SC5-EX production dissolvers. This system transforms the dissolver into a highly efficient grinding unit with a double-walled basket for cooling and a sieve that retains milling beads while allowing the millbase to circulate. The setup features a quick-change system, enabling rapid transition from dispersing to milling. The immersion mills use a rotating milling tool to agitate beads inside a stationary basket, promoting effective dispersion. This solution is particularly suitable for industries requiring repeatable fine grinding results and narrow particle size distribution, such as pharmaceuticals, coatings, and inks. Options for vacuum dispersion and ceramic design are also available.
