Lab-scale filtration system for micro- and ultrafiltration

In research and development settings, accurately replicating industrial filtration processes at a smaller scale is vital. Traditional systems can be complex and require extensive training, making it hard to efficiently scale lab results to industrial applications.

Simplify micro- and ultrafiltration processes

The Vibro-Lab3500 from Sanimembranes is a lab-scale filtration solution designed for easy setup and operation. Utilizing patented Vibro® technology and Free Flow Plates, the system simplifies the membrane filtration process by eliminating the need for a crossflow pump and cooling. Its transparent housing allows for visual inspection, making it easier to monitor the filtration process and detect fouling. With a membrane area of 3500 cm², the system can handle a drainable working volume of 600 mL, making it ideal for process volumes ranging from 2 to 100 liters. The Vibro-Lab3500’s compact footprint (51 x 16 cm) and simple push-in fittings ensure that it can be set up in minutes with only a feed pump and the Vibro unit. The system also supports easy membrane replacement within just 5 minutes, providing flexibility for various membrane types and pore sizes (1 kDa to 1.2 µm).
