The RV by CAM Packaging is a high-speed continuous motion overwrapper designed to meet the stringent packaging requirements of the cosmetic, food, and confectionery industries. It handles thin films with high efficiency and offers simple size change-over. Products enter via an infeed conveyor equipped with a ‘minimum head’ scanner. The patented CAM film feed system, along with a counter elevator and raked film cutting knife, ensures consistent, high-quality tight wraps. Wrapped packs are transferred to the heat sealing station using Teflon-coated belts, ensuring secure film side folding and reliable product outfeed. The RV features digital film cut-off length adjustment and optional print registration during operation. Lightweight change parts enable rapid size change-over by operators, minimizing downtime and ensuring high productivity. Additional options include CFR quick size change-over facility for servo size changing, print registration, tear-off tape application, and coding for over printing information on the wrapper.
