The K0 from CAM Packaging is a high-speed continuous motion horizontal cartoner designed to achieve production speeds of up to 800 cartons per minute. Its cantilever structure separates the mechanical section from the packaging area, simplifying cleaning and inspection during batch change-overs. This cartoner features a patented carton erection system with a continuous motion 5-station turret, providing extended time for thorough pre-breaking of each carton. Two suction-cup arms at each station ensure positive opening even for low grammage and square section cartons. The product transfer utilizes a motorized system with two crown gears coaxial with the center drum, ensuring perfect alignment between the pusher-product, bucket, and carton. A patented closure system enables high-speed tuck-in style sealing. CAM’s Mechanical Memory® system makes format change-overs quick and safe, even for less experienced operators.
