The R233 by GEA is a heavy-duty, fully automatic rotary high-speed tablet press designed for industrial applications. Capable of producing both single-layer and double-layer tablets, it is built to withstand continuous operation, making it ideal for large-scale production. With a compression force of up to 150 kN and a pre-compression capability of up to 10 kN, the R233 ensures uniform granule distribution and effective powder deaeration before final compression. Its isolated and sealed compression zone enhances powder confinement, and the machine’s GMP-compliant design makes it suitable for the food and beverage industries as well. The R233 features a large double-paddle forced feeder with individual paddle drives, a nickel-coated steel turret with replaceable wear plates, and a dust extraction system to maintain operational cleanliness. Operators can control the press using a Siemens PLC and a user-friendly 21.5-inch HD touchscreen with MultiControl5 system.
